Hello everyone! My name is Shaquile Garces-Phillips, and I am a senior cybersecurity student at Old Dominion University. My journey began in the United States Air Force before transitioning into healthcare and eventually discovering my passion for information technology and cybersecurity. Throughout my education and internship with the City of Virginia Beach, I have developed technical skills and problem solving skills, while gaining real world IT experience. As I prepare to graduate, I am excited to continue growing professionally, earn industry certifications, and pursue a career where I can help protect organizations through cybersecurity.
