About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Aaliyah Diggs Berry, and I’m currently a freshman attending Old Dominion University. I am originally from Morganton, North Carolina, but moved to Glen Allen, Va at a young age. I chose ODU because of not only the great location, but because I wasn’t totally sold on going to an HBCU like Norfolk State or Hampton. I found that ODU was an incredibly diverse campus and took pride in embracing other cultures, while continuing to include everyone. I am also a member of the Monarch Marching Band, where I am apart of the drumline! On my off time I love travelling, reading, music, and anything that involves food, I am quite the cook. Within this website I hope to display my academic journey to becoming a licensed nurse.
