I am a Sport management major at Old Dominion University. I am born and raised in the Uptown Newport News area of Virginia. This site was created for my Sports Communications class here at Old Dominion. I have chosen the course as one of my elective credits to strengthen some of my communication skills. Seeing that the course involves sport communication I felt it was a no brainer especially being a sport management student. Then the idea of potential having to write press releases, game reports, social media work, etc. Then I wanted to strengthening my skills writing a stories because that is something that can go a long way. I am passionate about pursuing a career in sports broadcasting and communications. This is something I wanted to do before I got to college and seeing all of the athletes that no longer play football, such as Richard Sherman, Tom Brady, Micheal Strahan. I would prefer to be in front of the camera, but having any type of experience can go a long way.

I hope you enjoy looking over my sports journal it will be displaying my assignments I have completed over the semester. Also it can help you learn a little more about myself, and get to know me a little better than what you see surface level.
