Welcome to My Cybersecurity ePortfolio
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to explore my Electronic Portfolio. My name is Alexander Berrios, and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at Old Dominion University. This portfolio brings together the academic projects, hands-on lab work, research, and professional experiences that have shaped my growth as both a cybersecurity student and an emerging professional in the field.
During my time at ODU, I’ve built a strong foundation in networking, system security, vulnerability assessment, and cyber operations. Coursework, labs, and exercises have given me experience with tools such as Python, VMware, Nmap, Metasploit, Linux (Kali and Ubuntu), and pfSense, allowing me to strengthen my technical capabilities and apply them to real security challenges that build upon my military and professional background.
In addition to technical skills, I’ve gained exposure to cybersecurity compliance and risk governance, specifically through the CMMC framework at Valor Cybersecurity, where I analyzed security controls, interpreted requirements, and supported documentation and gap assessments for small businesses.
My ePortfolio highlights three of my most marketable skill areas:
- Threat Intelligence & Penetration Testing
- Cybersecurity Compliance & Risk Management
- Security Architecture & Cloud Solutions Design
Each skill section includes supporting artifacts that demonstrate my development, capabilities, and readiness for the cybersecurity workforce. Due to contractual confidentiality and client security requirements, some of the Valor Cybersecurity document artifacts are not publicly displayed.
Thank you again for reviewing my work. This ePortfolio represents my ongoing professional growth and my commitment to continuous improvement as I work toward a future in cybersecurity.
