Hi! My name is Angelina Brito and I was born in Bronx, New York, but I have moved around so much. I was born in the Bronx, but moved out to Lexington, South Carolina when I was 5 years old. I lived in Lexington for 6 years and then moved to Staunton, Virginia when I was 11 years old. I lived in Staunton, Virginia for 4 years and then moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia when I was 15 years old. I lived in Virginia Beach for 2 years and then moved to Chesapeake, Virginia and I’ve lived here ever since. Since I’ve moved so much, I’ve been in two elementary schools, two middle schools, and three high schools. I know that was a lot, but I always have to explain where I’m from because it’s more than one place [as you can see]. More about me, I love hanging out with friends and family. I absolutely LOVE listening to music; it is literally my oxygen! Another interest of mine, I am a natural hair guru. I love natural hair so much . I’ve been a natural for 4 years and it has been a STRUGGLE, but I think it’s worth it because my hair is GORGEOUS! I also love helping people; it really makes my heart happy and I believe that it is my life’s purpose which is also one of the reason’s why I chose ODU. I chose ODU because they have one of the best nursing programs in Virginia and I knew if I attended this University, then I would be pursuing my life’s purpose. My goal when I graduate ODU is to obtain my BSN and become a trauma RN at Sentara Norfolk General Emergency Room.

This picture makes me cry because this is a picture of my grandma. She passed away in 2016 and she was my rock. In this picture is me, on the left, and my twin niece(because we’re the same age), on the right, and my grandma, who we called Mor-Mor, in the middle.
