My name is Adam Johnson. I am currently a student at Old Dominion University studying Cyber Security. I have always been interested in the field of Information Technology. I chose Cyber Security specifically because it was the topic I knew the least about and wanted to learn. I spent 12 years in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout and I am now looking forward to a new career in Cyber Security.
This ePortfolio was created for the class IDS493 with the purpose of collecting, documenting and displaying the progress I’ve made towards developing the skills and knowledge to succeed in the career path I chose. A part of this documentation comes in the form of Artifacts showing off the skills I have developed or learned through life and education. These artifacts for me are a way to look back at how I thought about a topic or analyzed something a certain way and see if it differs from how I would do it now. They are not just the way my mind works but a way to see how my thought process have progressed and which skills are my strongest. To make navigation easier I will include links below to what I believe are the most important documents and pages of this Portfolio as well as an embedded version of my personal narrative essay.
