Welcome to My Cybersecurity ePortfolio

Hello, and thank you for visiting my ePortfolio. My name is Adeline Harris, and I am a senior at Old Dominion University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and minoring in Risk Management and Insurance. I am currently seeking internship opportunities where I can apply my technical knowledge, gain hands-on industry experience, and continue developing as a cybersecurity professional.

This portfolio showcases the academic projects, technical labs, coursework, and experiences that have contributed to my growth throughout my cybersecurity journey. Through my studies at ODU, I have developed a strong foundation in networking, system security, programming, risk management, and cybersecurity principles. My coursework has provided opportunities to work with technologies and tools commonly used in the field, while strengthening my analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.

One of the highlights of my portfolio is my CYSE-250 project, a Python socket-based client-server system designed to securely store and share historical documents using user authentication, role-based access control, encryption, and network communication. Projects such as this have allowed me to gain practical experience in cybersecurity programming, networking, and secure system design.

Within this portfolio, you will find my resume, academic projects, hands-on laboratory work, and reflective journals that showcase the knowledge, technical skills, and experiences I have gained throughout my studies. These artifacts demonstrate my growth as a cybersecurity student and my preparedness to contribute effectively in a professional cybersecurity environment.

Thank you for taking the time to review my portfolio. It represents my dedication to continuous learning, technical excellence, and professional development within the cybersecurity field. As I pursue internship opportunities, I am eager to apply my skills to real-world challenges, expand my practical experience, and make meaningful contributions while continuing to grow as a cybersecurity professional.
