Hello, My name is Adriana Richardson. I was born In charlotte, North Carolina, and moved to Chester, Virginia at the age of five. I graduated from Matoaca High school. In high school I did cheer for football and basketball, and did indoor and outdoor track since my tenth grade year. I enjoy traveling the world, going on vacations, hanging out with friends and family, trying new foods, and making memories. While in high school I was in the Technical career center for the two year Program to become a Medical Assistant. For my clinical hours required to become a Medical Assistant, I did an externship at Colonial Heights Pediatrics clinic. I chose Old Dominion University not only because of the close proximity to the beach and the scenery of the campus, but because I could see me actually accomplishing my dreams through this university. ODU’s campus gave me a feeling of success, where I instantly felt a connection to people who genuinely want to see me succeed and help me reach my goals. I also decided to attend ODU for their on campus resources to help you be successful in your major.
