Hello, my name is Aiyianna Herndon I am an Electrical/Computer Engineer Major. I am excited to move on to a university, I hope to learn more about the Internet and wireless information to put in my everyday life as an Engineer. I hope to soon be an Engineer to be able to create games, build gaming systems, speakers, computers, and help participate in amusement park rides. I always liked going to different state fairs and amusement parks so I can soon be able to create my rides. Also, I would like to start on my journey to building and creating new and improved electronics and devices.

Growing up I always knew what career I wanted to be in and throughout my life, I always did things in the Engineering field. Also as a child, I enjoyed my summer time at Math and Science camps and stayed in Advance Math and Science classes. I knew that I wanted to be an engineer but I didn’t know what type of Engineering. That is until my Elementary school science fair, this was the biggest fair I had ever been to, I have seen talking and walking robotics, remote control cars, toys, volcano’s erupting, movable planets, and many more. My favorite part of the fair was the robotics and this is when I realized that I wanted to be an Electrical and Computer Engineer. When I told my mother that I wanted to be an Electrical and Computer Engineer and she got me so many books and gadgets. So the reason for choosing Electrical and Computer is because I had fun programming and building circuits.

In middle school I participated in a science fair, I wanted to win 1st place so that I could participate in the high school science fair. So for my project, I did a toy house with a light that was connected to a switch that powered the toy house. I won 1st place at the middle school fair. Unfortunately, I wasn’t notified when the high school fair occurred, so I wasn’t there to present my project so I won 2nd place in the high school fair. I never stopped taking steps to get to be an Engineer throughout middle school I took computer classes where we created games, learning programming, introduced us to building websites, and remote control cars, and more. This is where I learn more and wanted to know how to create roller coasters, video games, and computers. Today I am continuing my dreams.
