Hi everyone! My name is Anis Mohamad Akhir and I am a freshman by credits majoring in Psychology. This is technically my second year of college as I just transferred to Old Dominion University from Virginia Commonwealth University. Currently, I am doing everything I can to make sure that I embark on a journey to invest in myself. I work full time in the hotel industry and am trying to juggle work, academics, and family. My favorite things to do are cook, sing, and organize. Psychology has always been the only topic that sparks my interest for hours on end. I am hoping to discover and establish my minor this year, fingers crossed. I am taking this course, Social Psychology, to analyze the personal impacts that others have had on shaping my identity and its application on mental health. I look forward to a great fall semester!
