My name is Akon Deng and I major in cybersecurity. I currently live in Newport News VA but I’m originally from South Sudan although I was born in Ethiopia in a refugee camp which was where I grew up for a couple years. I was back and forth from Ethiopia to South Sudan for some time until my family and I migrated to the United States back in 2012 when I was 8 years of age .
