About Me

Hello and welcome to my site. My name is Alanna Smith-Miller. I am a sophomore criminal justice major with hopes to become a criminal defense attorney. I gained my interest in criminal justice through my father, who has worked in the justice system since I can remember. Seeing him help defend and protect people has inspired me to do the same in other ways. As a woman of color, I have seen the lack of representation throughout the system. I have seen injustices within the practice and became interested in combating those issues. With my diligence, I want to gain insight into all sectors of criminal justice to better help those who have been misrepresented, and help dissolve stereotypes.
