My name is Armani Alexander, I am a first generation college student majoring in psychology at Old Dominion University. I expect to graduate with a bachelors in psychology in spring of 2023. I hope to continue my education by pursuing my masters degree in School Psychology. My motivation for taking this class was to gain more insight on the fundamentals of psychology within various cultures.  My interest in psychology began when I started working as a teen assistant in a community center for children and families who were diagnosed with mental illnesses. From the experience I gained working at the facility, it motivated me to continue my interest in the field in psychology specifically working with children and families and has allowed me to choose my future career as a School Psychologist.
