Hi, I’m Allison.

I’m currently pursuing a double major in Cybersecurity and Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship. While those fields may seem very different, I’ve always been fascinated by both technology and human behavior. I enjoy understanding how things work, whether that’s a computer system, a business, or the way people think and make decisions.

My interest in cybersecurity comes from a curiosity about the digital world and the growing importance of protecting the systems we rely on every day. I enjoy the challenge of problem-solving and learning how technology can be secured against evolving threats. As technology continues to shape nearly every aspect of our lives, cybersecurity has become a field that is both exciting and meaningful to me.

Psychology has been equally rewarding because it provides insight into human behavior, communication, and decision making. I find it interesting how often the human element plays a role in cybersecurity, from social engineering attacks to the way people interact with technology. Studying both disciplines has helped me develop a broader perspective on solving problems and understanding the world around me.

Outside of school, I enjoy fitness, traveling, hiking, and exploring new cultures. One of the reasons I value travel so much is that it pushes me outside of my comfort zone and gives me the opportunity to see life from different perspectives. I am currently living in Thailand, where I’ve been able to experience a new culture while continuing my education, learning another language, pursuing my interest in Muay Thai, and embracing a season of personal growth.

I also have a strong interest in entrepreneurship and personal development. I enjoy taking on new challenges, learning new skills, and finding ways to turn ideas into reality. Whether I’m working toward a fitness goal, building a business, or learning a new subject, I believe some of life’s greatest opportunities come from staying curious and being willing to step outside of your comfort zone.

I’m excited to continue learning, developing my skills, and discovering how my interests in technology, psychology, and entrepreneurship can work together to make a meaningful impact in the future.
