Hello!

My name is Alyssia Fink. I am currently a Junior at Old Dominion University, I transferred here after earning my associate’s degree at Germanna Community College. I am a psychology major, I am also minoring in business administration.

My career goal is to be an American Sign Language interpreter and will be working on my national certification after I finish my bachelor’s degree. I decided to major in psychology because I knew I would be working with people of all different backgrounds and wanted to be able to understand them a little bit more. I chose business administration as my minor because as an interpreter, I could have the opportunity to run my own business and wanted to be prepared for that.

I am taking the course of cross-cultural psychology because I wanted to get more background information about different cultures as I would be working with people of a different culture frequently in my career choice.
