My name is Amaya Smith, and I am currently a sophomore at Old Dominion University. I was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia where I currently live. I am a nursing major, and I also minor in Psychology. I have always had a specific interest in Psychology since I took a Psychology class in high school. Psychology interests me because of the various subfields. I wanted to take this course specifically because Social Psychology asks some big questions that people ask every day and without Social Psychologist, some questions may go unanswered. Some of my long-term career goals include becoming a Registered Nurse then continuing my higher education to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, also known as a CRNA.
