Amiylah Chambers here, and I’m from Newport News, Virginia. When my mother was brought to the hospital and received subpar care from the professionals, I initially exhibited interest in nursing. This inspired me to complete my nursing major because I wanted to transform the nursing profession. ODU was the most cheap option for me and wasn’t too far from home. I enjoy working out, playing soccer, and I recently started my education to become a nail tech. I also like to spend time with my family, partner, and puppy. I enjoy eating, and Red Robin will always be my go-to restaurant.

This is Neptune, my adorable one-year-old dog and closest buddy. We like playing fetch or tag at the dog park. Neptune is an Australian shepherd, so he is quite energetic and enjoys playing tug of war, which I occasionally permit him to win.
