I have been a classroom teacher for 23 years. I have a secondary English license, and I have taught 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th grade. I am the Yearbook Adviser and Color Guard Director at my high school. I teach at Patrick County High School, which is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I have enjoyed my time in the classroom, but I am ready for a new adventure. One of my passions is reading, and I can’t think of a better way to surround myself with students and books that to be a school librarian. My husband and I have two children, and we enjoy camping, mowing, and binge watching tv shows.
