Hi, my name is Anthony Edgell. A few things about me are that I’m always up for an adventure, love learning new things, and wanting to better myself every day. I graduated from Hermitage High School and ended up working due to the fact that I was ready to start my career. I worked at Curtis Well Drilling and was the Filtration Technician there for about 3 years. After working there for a few years, I was ready to focus on bettering my health and my career for my future self. I’ve always had an interest in the cybersecurity field and look forward to gaining an extensive amount of knowledge in the field.

A few things that I expect to get out of this course is a better understanding and being able to address cybersecurity challenges. I’ve always been interested in Security Technologies and Cyber Threats and Attacks, so I hope to come out being able to understand these concepts. In the field, various security technologies play a crucial role in protecting systems, networks, and data from unauthorized access, attacks, and breaches. I’m excited to learn how often these technologies need to be updated and improved to be able to keep on protecting against offensive attacks.
