Major: Cybercrime
Minors: Children’s Rights & Criminal Justice
I am a transfer student from Blue Ridge Community College pursuing a career that will make a positive impact on the criminal justice system. I have a strong interest in the rapidly evolving world of technology and recognize its potential dangers. Therefore, I am expanding my knowledge to support those who may be vulnerable to its risks.
On top of my studies, I’m a stay-at-home mom to two kids, which has really fueled my desire to work in criminal justice. This experience has further motivated my aspiration to be a safe space and a voice for child victims. I am also quite interested in white-collar crimes and the various types of cybercrimes that are committed daily.
As I venture into this chapter at ODU, I am excited to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for justice and technology. I am committed to utilizing my education and experiences to advocate for those who may not have a voice, particularly children affected by crime. I believe that through collaboration and continuous learning, we can create a safer environment for everyone. I look forward to contributing to meaningful change within the criminal justice system and making a lasting impact on the lives of others. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!
