Hello, my name is Ashley Mejia Macias, I’m a Cybersecurity Major at Old Dominion University. I am a Marine Corp vet and I’m from Brooklyn, New York.  My interest is to find new ways to help people. Programming languages include python. I am currently learning Linux. My goal in this course is to absorb as much knowledge as possible to succeed in my desired career as a cyber security major. I was a aviation supply specialist as well as a dental assistant in the past and I can say from experience both of these fields need cyber security. I’m still in the process of getting certifications like sec + and still trying to figure out my career path in cyber security but Supply Cyber catches my eye and I would love to learn more about it and become more knowledgeable. I am currently in the Cyber Clinic 2025 Internship working with hands on experience in helping organizations with their missions in cyber security. In my group of three we are currently helping the Fairwater Associates create a policy to be put in place for their federal government contract that’s main focus is the supply chain.
