I was born November 3rd, 1998, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to two non Musically inclined parents. I have been in love with music ever since I heard my first church hymn. I loved how the harmonies of the different parts danced with each other. When I found the song to my own heart within myself, I have been following it ever since. Since I was in middle school, my main instrument was the clarinet. When I graduated, I decided to pursue psychology for autistic children at Tidewater Community College. I loved to sing; however, I never believed I was talented enough to be a vocalist until I realized when I Failed Abnormal Psychology twice that I needed to rethink my life choices.
I auditioned for Old Dominion University in March 2019 after receiving my associate degree in Social Science. I finally was doing something that I loved every single day of every single moment. While being at Old dominion university, I have received the F. Ludwig Diehn Chorale scholarship, I place in first in Mid Atlantic Reginal NATS, went to nationals for NATS, Founded programs called Black History Through Song (BHTS), and am a recipient of The Sherman Greene choir scholarship.
I have directed programs and mentored students to bring out their best qualities through music selections to help them step out of their comfort zones. Through those programs, students have gotten much-needed exposure to receive a request to participate in private choirs, become paid performers, and recipients of scholarships.
