Hi, my name is Aaliyah Smith, and I am attending Old Dominion University to pursue a career in nursing. I am originally from Richmond, VA and one of my hobbies is that I love to draw.  One of my main reasons for choosing Old Dominion University is because it was close to home and I really enjoy being near the water. One important thing about me is that I am a  huge dog lover and I will not hesitate at the chance to show off my dog.

The major I chose to pursue is Nursing, I chose this major because I am really interested in the medical career. Since I am not sure if I can make the years to become a doctor I thought how about I become a nurse instead. Sadly, I have not been able to receive any experience in the field, but hopefully, that will change this summer.
