Welcome to my blog!

My name is Dani and I am currently a student at Old Dominion University. I am hoping to finish my degree by the end of next Summer.  In the future, I hope to work as an educator in either the state of Virginia or possible back in New York City. I am currently a substitute teacher in the City of Virginia Beach where I have gotten lots of experience with students. I have worked with students of different ages and learning levels.

This blog shows some of my experiences with education. In 2016, I got the opportunity to teach English in Italy for 3 months. It was a great experience where I learned that teaching is possible at any age and language. The language barrier was not as difficult as some would think. I also got to travel and experience Italy first hand.
