I’m Audri Jackson, a young adult continuing my education to transition my career path. I was born and raised in Virginia, living in Richmond for six years before returning to the Hampton Roads area. In my professional life, I do Security for Defensive Contracting and being introduced to this line of work encouraged my interest in Cybersecurity. My Information Technology journey began when I decided to take a Cybersecurity Certificate program at my local community college. During this program I learned the depth and value that cybersecurity has to our infrastructure. That experience prepared me to take and pass my first certification exam, CompTIA Security+. Today, I work hard to complete my degree while preparing for my second exam, CompTIA Linux+.
