My name is Jaylen Ayers. I’m originally from Blacksburg, Virginia, but decided to go to Old Dominion for a change in scenery. I’m an Exercise Science major, and I would like to continue my education post-graduation to become a physical therapist. I’m taking this course to understand the science behind intercultural interactions. I feel as if there is plenty of room to improve my cultural awareness at all times, so I hope that this course helps me discover new methods for future interactions. Furthermore, psychology has always been an interesting subject to me, as it gives scientific basis to the mental aspect of human nature. We have plenty of knowledge on human physiology, but our psychological understanding is relatively limited. I hope to learn much from this class!
