Hello! My name is Michelle Barahona-Urrutia and i’m a first generation college student. Both of my parents are from El Salvador. I’m bilingual, and the middle child of three; I have two brothers: one older, and one younger. My current goal is to finish off the semester strong, and possibly get a new job. As of right now I am a barista and a nanny; i’m looking for a job in a medical setting. My major is Psychology, I switched last year from Biology! The field of Psychology as a whole interests me; but if I had to narrow it down, Clinical Psychology is more of an interest for me. I hope to become a Naval Psychologist. I’m taking this class because I thought it would be very interesting to learn about how ones culture affects them and the decisions that they make.
