Hi, my name is Barry Emanuel. I’m a Navy Veteran (former Personnel Specialist) transitioning into Cyber Security. I am pursuing a second bachelor’s at Old Dominion University with hopes to be finished by 2028. I’ve been interested in IT/Cybersecurity for a long time, and this is the right time for me to make the pivot.

I work full time, so I am balancing my studies with my 9-5 job and personal life. I know this sacrifice will pay off as I finally get to pursue my career dreams.

In my time off, I enjoy traveling, home improvement, relaxing and learning.
