Hello! My name is Sarah Benson, and I am in the process of becoming a music teacher. Music has always been one of the largest parts of my life. Even before I learned how to read words, I could read music. My want of becoming a music teacher has come from many things, but mostly my elementary school teacher. She was the reason I want to teach elementary school. It is always said that starting your kids with an instrument or talent at a young age is one of the best things you can do for them and knowing that everything you show them as their teacher will stick with them and even make them better at what they do is so mesmerizing to me. Not only do I want to help kids start off with learning the basics, but I want to help teach them how much music means to the world around us and how it can help us expand our thoughts in countless ways.
