Hello! My name is Bernadette Murphy. I am a Senior at ODU finishing up my English degree with a concentration in Linguistics and a minor in Spanish. I am exploring a few different avenues for work after graduation. I am interested in the school systems, but also want to see what I can find with writing and editing. I am a preschool teacher at The Goddard School in Virginia Beach and I also tutor student athletes through ODU’s Athletic Department! I am also in the Monarch Marching Band here at ODU. In my time to decompress from everything, I either travel to Richmond for a weekend to spend time with my fiance, or I indulge my guilty pleasures of Say Yes to the Dress and Disney+! I will be graduating in May 2020, and I am very excited to begin such a new part of life!
