Hi there! Welcome to my WordPress. My name is Amal Bouh (pronounced like “boo”) and I am a concurrent student with ODU and Riverside for their RN program! I am a junior from Alexandria, VA – a city in Northern Virginia (NOVA). I chose to pursue nursing because I wanted to help enrich the quality of life for the patients that I interact with. In high school, I took a Nurse Aide course that allowed me to get hands-on experience at a nursing home. This gave me a realistic feel of what it is like in a health care setting. It was a rewarding experience to be able to help those residents with every day activities like feeding, bathing, and walking because it really made a difference in their lives. This impact is what strengthened my passion to pursue nursing.
