I am currently a full time student at the School of Cybersecurity at ODU. I set to graduate in 2026. Prior to my enrollment here I held an IT job in the US Navy. I worked at one of the largest telecommunications center in the government. My job was maintaining the network for the pacific fleet while also troubleshooting any network or email problems. I also worked with firewall and IP configs to ensure a hardworking system for the military. My time in the military has really helped me gain technical knowledge and skills in the world of IT. I received a certification in COMPTIA Security+ and decided that cybersecurity was a great future career for me.
