Hello

I am Destiny! My major is communications, media studies and I am currently pursuing my B.A. As I set many goals for myself, my academic goals consists of raising my GPA up to at least a 3.0 and to graduate as planned in December 2019. As for career goals, I definitely plan on working in television or radio within the entertainment industry. Moreover, I intend to continue building my resume, working internships and networking so upon graduating I will have more references and connections for potential career opportunities. As a requirement for my degree, I must take two classes outside of my major. In the beginning of my college career, I took an introduction to psychology course, so I decided that I wanted to learn more about the area of study. Hence, the reason why I decided to choose Social Psychology as one of the selected classes. More specifically, I find the study of social behaviors, influence of individuals intriguing, and hope to gain a scientific understanding of it, so that I may apply it to my everyday life experiences.
