Hi, my name is Caleb Baines: a junior undergraduate for Old Dominion University, currently majoring in Cybersecurity with a minor in Computer Science.

I recently made the switch to cybersecurity during my spring semester of my sophomore year. Being a former Computer Science major, I always wanted to learn programming and a better understanding of technology. As my appreciation for technology comes from a love for video games. In my spare time, I like to listen to music, watching Youtube or binging a show, drawing/sketching and, of course, playing video games.

Professional Goals

My goal is to gain internship experience in my time going to college. After graduation, I would like to get into a job in either my cybersecurity and/or computer science field. I’ll most likely pursue a passion project on the side to create video games. As a form of work I’ll like to work in, is anything that is engaging and hands-on.
