My full name is Carlos Emilio Gonzalez Leon, but I go by Carlos or Carlos Junior. I currently live in Windsor, Virginia. I went to and graduated from Windsor High School in 2023. I attended Tidewater Community College for 2 years, majoring in Cybersecurity, and graduated with an associate’s degree through a transfer program for ODU. I then transferred to ODU. I am currently in my junior year and am working towards my bachelor’s in Cybersecurity with no minor.

From the time I graduated high school, through attending and finishing TCC, and until this last summer, I worked full-time to be able to pay for my studies. It has been a challenge to save up all the necessary funds, but now I have my savings, and I am proud to say I can attend college as a full-time student.

For my hobbies, I like being physically active and being out of my room. Since I was little, I’ve liked to spend a lot of time on my computer, whether it was watching videos, playing video games, doing schoolwork, etc. As I have gotten older, I have been enjoying being outdoors more, socializing, and just not being glued to my computer all day. It not only helps me stay healthy physically, but also mentally. As for my hobbies, more specifically, I like playing soccer, going to car meets with friends, and spending quality time with family and friends. I have played soccer ever since I can remember. I have played in clubs and on teams my whole life growing up, and it is something I still like to do to this day. Though it is harder to find teams as an adult, it’s still worth it to me to drive long distances for some playing time. Another one of my hobbies, though I am not very knowledgeable yet, is cars. My friend took me to a car meet once a while back, and ever since, I have enjoyed going to meets, learning more about cars, helping with modifications, etc. Lastly, my other hobby is playing video games. Though, as I said before, I don’t spend too much time on my computer during my free time anymore, I do enjoy hopping on a call with friends and spending time with them now and then. I also have a couple of ‘mini-hobbies’ that I like to do occasionally, which include 3D modeling, 3D printing, and music production. I am not very experienced in these, but I have been taking some time to learn, and it’s been enjoyable so far.
