Hello! My name is Taylor Carr and I am starting my last year at Old Dominion University. I grew up in Orange, Va; lived on campus at ODU for two and a half years; and now I am living in Fredericksburg, Va. One of the reasons I am taking this class is because I needed an online elective to take and, the other reason is I am just interested in Psychology.  I am majoring in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Studies with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. One of my goals is to continue my education after graduating from ODU, at VCU in their Occupational Therapy program. A goal I have for this class is to apply concepts I learn from this course into my future career. A few things about my personal life: I am currently nine months pregnant with a girl (I have been going to school my whole pregnancy and will continue), I’m getting married this year, I love music, and I love trying any DIY/craft project. I look forward to a successful semester in Social Psychology!
