About Me

Hello, my name is Carter William Wakefield. I was born on January 19, 2005, in Richmond, VA. I have been married since 2024. Growing up, I stayed busy learning new skills and seeking out adventure.

I have a passion for physical fitness, traveling, photography, exploring the outdoors, attending concerts, and working with computers. I earned my Eagle Scout rank in 2019. I attended Matoaca High School in the IT Specialty Center and graduated in May 2023 with an associate’s degree in General Studies from Brightpoint Community College.

At 18, I joined the United States Marine Corps on June 5, 2023. My job in the Marine Corps is as a network administrator and fiber optic splicer. I have hands-on experience in laying and running cables, splicing copper cables with up to 50 pairs, splicing fiber optic cables, scaling cell towers, and configuring routers, switches, and encryption devices.

Currently, I am attending Old Dominion University and working toward my bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. My lifetime goal is to own an IT company as well as a few other side businesses.
