My name is Cameron Edgemond, I am currently in my first semester at Old Dominion University as a freshman. My portfolio is to show how my writing will progress will during my time at Old Dominion University. I enjoy writing papers but I struggle with grammar and punctation, my goals in University 150 is to become a better writer and learn how to properly write a paper to prepare me for future writing classes. This course is preparing me to write like a college student and teach me how to fix the errors in my papers. This portfolio is to showcase my progress in writing as I continue though college. I am majoring in Business and Accounting I believe that becoming a better writer will help to further me in this major because you have to be a good writer and be able to persuade people into your business for it to be successful. My strengths in writing are that I am able to write about almost any topic that is given to me and that I can write long papers. The things I struggle with while writing papers is I need to work on sentence structure and being able to properly use punctuation. Throughout this this portfolio I hope to express my progress and show that practicing your writing skills will make writing easier and more fun.
