Hello!

My name is Celeste Meraz-Luna, I was born and raised in Augusta County, Virginia. I am very determined and motivated to complete my higher education and take advantage of all the opportunities that come along my education path. As a daughter of immigrant parents, I am also a first generation student and take pride in my success for my education.

I graduated from Blue Ridge Community College with a Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems Technology with a specialization in Cybersecurity in fall 2024. I decided to transfer to Old Dominion University to continue my Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity.

I am currently a part-time employee at North Ridge Cafe & Coffee as a Barista Shift Lead. At this position I have learned the value of customer service, leadership roles and teamwork with my co-workers. Also being a full-time student has shaped me as the person I am today, learning the importance of time management, professional communication and persistence to continue my higher education.
