Hello! I am Chris Evans and this is my ePortfolio website for all my studies at Old Dominion University as a student pursuing my Bachelors in Cybersecurity. I will graduate in August of 2023 and I am excited to begin working in the dynamic and important field of cybersecurity. My professional background is in business, which has shown me repeatedly the importance of computer systems and networks on business operations. I’m looking forward to applying the technical skills I’ve learned at ODU to business problems and operations.

My lifelong passion for technology and curiosity has motivated me to dive into cybersecurity and learn as much as I can. Old Dominion University has taught me a great deal about information technology topics and how to synthesize those into solutions to problems. Through my time I’ve gained skills in technical concepts, strengthened my skills in communication and writing, and strengthened my skills in researching and finding answers to academic questions. As I graduate I’m excited to join a strong cybersecurity team and to be a part of the important work of defending our computer and network infrastructure from attacks.
