Hi, I’m Chase McKnight. I am a freshman at Old Dominion University right now, and I am studying cybersecurity. I selected this career because I like technology and keeping digital information safe from dangers. This year, I want to learn the basics of cybersecurity and get some real-world experience with the tools and abilities utilized in the field.

Along with my classes, I want to join cybersecurity-related groups and do extracurricular activities to learn more and meet other people in the area. I’m also looking into different parts of cybersecurity, such ethical hacking, network security, and digital forensics, to see which job path fits my skills and interests the best.

I want to keep learning, getting real-world experience, and becoming ready for a great future in cybersecurity.
