My name is Christine Jimenez, and I am a senior at Old Dominion University majoring in cybersecurity. Originally from Northern Virginia, I was drawn to Old Dominion University for its vibrant environment and proximity to the beach, both of which have enriched my college experience.

I began my academic journey as a computer science major, but I soon discovered my passion for safeguarding digital information and combating cyber threats, which inspired me to switch to cybersecurity. This decision has allowed me to combine my analytical skills with my desire to contribute to a safer digital world.

Through my studies, I have developed a strong foundation in areas such as network security, ethical hacking, and risk assessment. Beyond academics, I have gained valuable experiences collaborating on projects, engaging with cybersecurity communities, and continuously staying updated on the latest technological advancements.

As I near graduation, I am excited to apply my skills and knowledge to help organizations protect their critical assets and navigate the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats.
