Hi everyone! My name is Kate-Lynn Cipolla and this is my first semester at Old Dominion University majoring in psychology.  I graduated from Tidewater Community College in December 2020 with my Associates in Social Sciences. I am taking this course because I believe it will help me with my future career. My goal is to be a school psychologist in the Virginia Beach City Public School System (VBCPS). I am currently a special education teacher assistant for VBCPS and work with first graders. I have always had a passion for working with children and enjoy seeing them grow into amazing people.

I was born in Rhode Island, but moved to Virginia Beach when I was 3 years old due to my dad being in the navy. I absolutely love Virginia Beach and living so close to the water. In my free time, I like to cook, binge watch Netflix shows, and spend time with my family.
