Hi !

My name is Colbi Johnson. I am currently an undergrad student at Old Dominion University majoring in World Languages and Cultures with a concentration in World Cultural Studies as well as a minor in International Studies. In my spare time I enjoy reading, listening to music, working out, spending time with my loved ones, and volunteering. My ultimate goal is to stop the illegal trafficking of humans as well as spend a significant amount of time in third world countries participating in humanitarian activities. I decided to take this course, because I needed one more elective for my major; however, I have a genuine interest in psychology which has caused me to consider adding it as a second minor. I became interested in Psychology after finishing the Criminal Minds series twice. I thought it was very interesting that they could find serial killers and/or rapists by paying close attention to their body language, lifestyles, homes, careers, as well as significant events in their lives. It has led me to wonder if I could use Psychology when helping people around the world with different cultures. This thought process was my reason for choosing this particular course as well as the reason for my general interest in psychology.
