My name is Hydera Conner and I am a freshman at Old Dominion University. I am from Richmond, Virginia and I chose ODU because it is a very diverse campus. I really enjoyed the scenery when I walked around the campus and as my toured ended I excitedly told my uncle this is MY SCHOOL! I enjoy playing volleyball, softball, singing and dancing. I often like going for a swim in the gym at least once a week to clear my mind of the stress that I tend to put on myself abut school. I have been singing since I was four years old and I tend to sing any chance I can get. I started singing in my Kindergarten choir in elementary school until singing at my high school graduation. I have been dancing since I was four as well and I have done all the dances in the book. I have done ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop , and praise dance. I have danced at many recitals and done many dances in front of big groups of people. I have also battled in my younger years while dancing. I have played volleyball since I was in the 4th grade and I have played AAU, High School, and travel volleyball since I graduated. I became a captain when I finally reached the ninth grade. I have a little sister who is practically taller than me, and a little brother that looks just like me with no hair.  She also plays volleyball , and I have a dog name snowball. He is a Maltese mixed with a Chihuahua and he is very spoiled. I also enjoy taking care of children no matter the age!
