Hello,

My name is Cameron Cosby and I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia.  I currently attend Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. I am a sophomore and my current major is Occupational Tech Studies with a minor in business management. One thing that inspired me to pursue in this direction at school is my current job title at an amusement park named Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. I started working at Kings Dominion in 2013 as a 15-year-old high school student. After many promotions and hard work, I currently hold a position as Merchandise seasonal manager.  My main responsibility with this jobs to lead our business to success, which is also being taught in my current class I take here at ODU.

After I graduate college I hope to own a business, that involves working with kids like my current job. I want kids to come to my business and leave saying they had the “best day ever”.   While growing up I didn’t receive the attention and the fun things that some kids receive now. So, i want to help change that and bring fun to all the kids if I can. I hear time after time it’s going be a challenging path for me to get this job. However, I have a strong work ethic and I am determined to not give up on my goals to reach the job that I desire.
