About Me

I have been told I am a very selfless person with a really big heart. And thats how all nurses should be. They are the people in the hospital you really get to know and build a relationship with.

I volunteered at a local hospital in my hometown, The Martha Jefferson hospital. I walked around with a caring cart, a cart on wheels that had different little goodies on it like coloring books, crossword puzzles and stuffed animals. But it also had practical things like fingernail clippers and toothpaste and hair brushes. It was something to make the patients stay at the hospital a little more enjoyable. I am aspiring to be a NICU or an OB/GYN nurse. I love babies and I want to help every single baby on this planet whether they are coming into the world or having difficulties becoming a part of this world. My mom lost a baby because of pregnancy issues, and I have always wanted to help other moms so they don’t have to go through the same physical and mental pain my mom went through. Honestly the main reason I want to be a nurse is to help people, make connections and relationships, and at the end of the day make the world a better place.

I want to be able to change people’s lives everyday and love and care for little babies and their mothers. This is not exactly about my career but, I want to be able to live comfortably, have a family that I will be able to support but also have time with them and be a present mom.
