Hello! I am I. Pettie Perkins and welcome to my Critical Theory Portfolio. I am an English and Mathematics major with concentrations in Creative Writing and Linguistics. I plan on going into Psychology and working in the clinical mental health field after graduation. Critical Theory has provided me a new way to review and comprehend literature. This class will continue to help me in the future because I now know how to approach situations and literature from different lenses and learn how to view people, scholarship and literature from different perspectives. As you journey through this portfolio, know that these are my views and what I have gathered from my readings. I guess after taking this class, this now makes me a critical conspiracy theorist since I have to work with, deduce and postulate scholarship through different lenses and apply a little discernment.
