Hello, my name is Caleb Samples. I’m from a small town called Greenville, Texas. I joined the U.S. Navy straight outside of highschool and served our great country for 10 years! In the military I worked on missile defense systems and it was a pretty cool job. I got to spend my 20’s traveling the world, and trying to find my calling in life. When I got out of the Navy in 2022, I was set on starting my career in cybersecurity, so I got a leg up and got a job with General Dynamics Information Technology starting out as an Electrical Engineer. It’s a pretty great job that allowed me to secure my Top Secret clearance, and they plan on sending me to a Security+ Boot Camp so I can switch over to Cybersecurity. Being able to simultaneously start my career, and attend college is such a blessing that I refuse to take for granted!

Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.
