Welcome to CYSE200T! I am Morgan Brown, owner and publisher. Currently a sophomore at Old Dominion University, I strive to learn and utilize the skills, practices, and policies of Cybersecurity. Before attending Old Dominion, I attended Tidewater Community College for a year, familiarizing myself with college life and young adulthood. Though my future career is momentarily undetermined, I am heavily considering going into the field of Cybersecurity or Criminal Justice. Both fields suit my career interests and tend to go hand-in-hand. I am also taking two Criminal Justice intro courses this semester. I hope these courses give me better insight into criminal policies, our law, and our Criminal Justice system. After completing this semester and these courses, I hope to have narrowed down the suitable career for me and my future.

About Me

Career aside, I am 19 years old from Portsmouth, Virginia and I’ve lived in the Hampton Roads area my entire life. I am an Old Dominion commuter, which tends to hinder my participation in on-campus clubs and activities and my social relationships with on-campus peers. I do hope to change that as the semester continues. When not at school or doing schoolwork, I enjoy relaxing at home with my dog, scrolling through social media, or online shopping. Before the 2024-2025 school year comes to an end, I aim to have widened my social circle, joined a club or organization, passed all of my courses with a high GPA, and be on track with what career path is best for me.
